My, how much fun can Portal be? Only mere hours of playing and I'm already feeling somewhat addicted to this clever game. A rather late introduction to an ingenious game, but better late than never.
The cake is, of course, a lie
Is it me or does Portal resemble the movie "Cube" and its sequels? Both involve being trapped in a series of rooms with puzzles/traps that becoming increasingly murderous. The only thing missing is the voice of GLaDOS. Oh, GLaDOS, how your voice will resonate in my dreams for years to come. Taking pride of place alongside the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, the mutants from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and those damn scary ventriloquist dummies.
