Mass Effect: Shepard's mind gets swiss cheesed, strangulation follows shortly after

Shepard and track Saren to one of his secret bases and prepare to infiltrate and destroy it. It'll be a mission full of bravery and sacrifice. Not everyone will make it back alive. The stuff of legends.

The team fight their way in and come across a Prothean beacon. Like last time, it proceeds to swiss cheese Shepard's brain.

Not letting such a trivial thing get in the way, Shepard and team set the timer up on the nuke. A firefight breaks out as the outnumbered men and women of the Normandy try to hold off the Geth.

So far, no sign of Saren. A big complex filled with loads of expendable Geth troops and secret labs filled with prisoners. He's almost turning out like some corny movie villain with monocle and black moustache. Then he shows up and he's a badass.

 Who proceeded to strangle Shepard within an inch of her life.
