This week we were treated to a nice Doctor Who webisode, giving us a glimpse into the Time War and what the Doctor was doing (or not doing) during it.
Killed during the events of "The Night of the Doctor", the time traveler gets to choose what his next incarnation will be. He chooses the role of a warrior in order to steel himself for the Time War.
It still ruffles my feathers that the Doctor can just shun a previous version of himself and pretend it was another life, another person. Still, it was a pleasant surprise to see Paul McGann reprise his role, if only for 5 minutes.
Will it break my ability to enjoy the series from now on? Hopefully not. I want to see how they go about explaining this incarnation. I want to be proved wrong. I still want to like Doctor Who in the future (or past, or present, or whatever, it's all wibbly wobbly).
