YOU ARE NOT A CAR!

I like to think of myself as a considerate motorist. Driving a car does not automatically make you superior to non car drivers.

This is a story about a pedestrian who believed she was a car.

On a quiet sunday, I was driving into town with my friend Craig to find some new running shoes. We came across some roadworks. Like the sensible person I am, I carefully move to avoid them.

The very obese woman stomping along on the pavement wasn't so sensible. She decided to walk onto the road and continue on the left hand lane.

I slowly move right to overtake, but she decided walking on the right hand lane would be a good idea.

We were behind her for over a minute before she decided to move back onto the pavement. If this had been a busier road, she would be roadkill.
