A lot of people don't like history, finding it boring. Even a history buff like myself can find some of the literature out there a bit dry and hard to access. I've noticed a growth in history channels on YouTube, and The Great War series really stands out. It takes WW1 and brings it to life in a succinct and really well narrated way. I can see it becoming a tool for school teachers to help pupils learn about history.
Also, while I'm on this topic, here's a video about making corned beef stew in the trenches. For some reason, I can't stop watching this.
