This is worth checking out for Lord of the Rings fans. It's an exploration of the themes running through this story, some of it religious in nature. The great thing about LoTR is you can read it in different ways. It can be read as a simple good versus evil story, a text with religious themes, an analysis of human nature, and so on.
It's from the Gordon Conwell seminary, but you don't have to be religious to appreciate this video.
